Landscape painting and detailed hand-painted sculptures in clay are my true passions. Southern Life is so full of beauty and character that I feel one medium simply isn’t enough to capture it all. I’m especially drawn to Hilton Head Island's flora and fauna in my sculptures, inspired by the memories of my childhood and the rich history of Hilton Head Island. In my oil paintings, I focus on preserving the native plants, animals, people, and landscapes, as they are such an important part of the island mystique. For the past 40 years, I’ve made my living through murals and commissions, always working to bring my client's vision to life through a composition of soft color and tranquil emotion.
